Letter for parents
“I credit my love of reading to my parents. Not only did they encourage me to read simply by being enthusiastic readers themselves, but when I truly loved a story, they read it, too. It was incredibly validating for me as a child to see them share my joy for something that mattered to me. And all the more, it was fun. As a family, we squabbled over who would be the first to read a new release. We debated each of our theories for what was to come. We used books to open discussions about the world and about growing up.
wrote Wilderlore to offer families that same experience. Though the intended audience is first and foremost kids, the wide cast of adult characters and nods to nostalgic tales give plenty for grown-ups to love as well. And, maybe, make all of us feel the magic of childhood again.
the bottom of my heart, I wish you and your family a truly special adventure”.
Love, Amanda
