Letter for parents

“I credit my love of reading to my parents. Not only did they encourage me to read simply by being enthusiastic readers themselves, but when I truly loved a story, they read it, too. It was incredibly validating for me as a child to see them share my joy for something that mattered to me. And all the more, it was fun. As a family, we squabbled over who would be the first to read a new release. We debated each of our theories for what was to come. We used books to open discussions about the world and about growing up.

wrote Wilderlore to offer families that same experience. Though the intended audience is first and foremost kids, the wide cast of adult characters and nods to nostalgic tales give plenty for grown-ups to love as well. And, maybe, make all of us feel the magic of childhood again.

the bottom of my heart, I wish you and your family a truly special adventure”.

Love, Amanda

Reviews from parents
“We absolutely loved this!!! We started it as our nightly read aloud as a family. My kids that stay and listen are 11, 10, 8. Not only that-my husband insisted we wait for him to read as well as he was so pulled in by the story!”
Cherise, Amazon review.
“My daughter and I buddy read The Accidental Apprentice by Amanda Foody and yall, I am OBSESSED. My daughter and I both said it was our favorite read of the year so far and we are itching for the sequel”

“We're so excited to see where the series goes. I can't tell you how many nights we'd settle in to read a chapter and my husband and daughter were begging to read "just one more chapter!”
